HOW TO USE:
1) Wear Leather Gloves
Put on heat-resistant leather gloves to protect your hands while handling the heated brand.
2) Prepare Your Heat Source
Set up a safe heat source such as a small fire, propane torch, or burner. Ensure the area is stable and clear of flammable materials.
3) Heat the Turkey Brand
Place the Turkey Brand over the heat source until it is hot enough to mark leather. Do NOT allow the brand to become red hot.
4) Test the Turkey Brand
Use the provided practice leather to test the proper temperature and stamping time. Practice several times if needed to achieve the desired impression.
5) Reheat and Brand Your Leather
Reheat the brand if necessary, then press the heated stamp firmly and evenly into the leather tote for a few seconds to create the brand.
6) Lift the Brand Straight Up
Remove the brand carefully by lifting straight up to avoid smearing the impression.
